Dancing Beauties

I had so much fun photographing these beautiful Ballerinas. Don't be fooled, they make look delicate but both of these ladies are true athletes.

Sweet Baby Payton

4 days old and absolutely precious, little Payton was kind enough to pose for her very first modeling session.  Her Momma jumped in too unexpectedly and I am so happy she did. The BW pose with Momma and Baby is one of my favorites.  Enjoy

Baby W on the Way.

I had the privilege of being asked to photograph a new momma. This is her first child and she and her husband decided NOT to find out the sex of the baby. Baby W is due 10/5/2012. Will he/she be early, late or right on time?

Daniel Stowe Botanicle Gardens

Happy 2012. My first post of the new year. I'm a little late. Better late than never I guess. The grey days of Winter in the Carolina's (however this winter has been unusually warm and sunny) made me want to post some images I took at the Stowe Botanical Gardens last Fall. What a beautiful place for photographers, painters, writers and those who just want to escape for a moment. The day I was there, it was a chilly October day but the sun was out in full force. These images are deceiving. It was colder than it looks. Enjoy!

Happy Father's Day

Good Morning and Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there including my own. So I have become a little obsessed with photographing flowers here recently. They are fairly easy subjects to work with. No worries about coordinating with their schedules, they don't talk back, they seem to enjoy getting their picture taken and I don't have to get them to sign a model release. So of course the natural progression would be to jump in and start to learn Maco photography. I have quickly learned that I am not a stable person. Physically for sure! Mentally, well that's up for debate depending on the day :) I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them.

The Matthews Farmers Market Watchdog

Unfortunately I was very late getting to the Matthews Farmers Market today. Upon leaving I spotted this pretty plant growing randomly and wild alongside one of vendor stands near the entrance. such a pretty and delicate little thing

Beauty in My Backyard

I wanted to share the beautiful Lily's that are in full bloom in my backyard. I'm embarrassed to say I don't know what type of flower the last picture is but it's just starting to bloom and is very pretty. Spring and early Summer are definitely my favorite times of year in the South. Please enjoy

Carolinas Aviation Museum

Last week I joined my children's class on their school field trip to the Carolinas Aviation Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina. I must admit, although I offered to chaperon, I did have other motives and that was to take advantage of the great photo opportunity that day. I was not disappointed. The aircrafts and the excitement and joy on the students faces made it a great day to remember. I hope you enjoy the photographs as much as I do.
